Description
🔨 Ostelo the Far-Sighted
Quartermaster, Craftsman, and Builder of Misfits
While most bandits look for treasure, Ostelo looks for potential — in people, in ruins, and in the broken bits others leave behind. A meek figure with soot-stained hands and spectacles forever sliding down his nose, Ostelo is the guild’s Quartermaster and Tinker, responsible for every blade, lockpick, lens, and loud crash that happens in the Bandits’ hall.
Once a renowned craftsman in the royal forges of Pax Dei, Ostelo’s career ended abruptly when he “accidentally” replaced a noble’s jeweled scepter with an identical one made of glass. When confronted, he shrugged and said,
“If you can’t tell the difference, maybe you shouldn’t be holding it.”
Banished and blacklisted, Ostelo wandered until he crossed paths with Eotakk — who admired his craftsmanship, but even more, his philosophy. To Eotakk, Ostelo wasn’t disgraced; he was perfectly refracted. Together they rebuilt an abandoned glassmaker’s hall into the Bandits’ first hideout, hammering together both the walls and the guild’s ideals.
